In 2017, my mom, sisters, and I took a trip to Tulum, Mexico. We spent most of our days on the beach and I led a few escapades into ocean-water watercoloring.
A favorite day found us at Muyil River Float. As our guide sped us through the lagoon, I exhaled and took in the expanse. This painting is an impression of that moment.
