Collection Story.

This studio sale is our very first collection.

These pieces were made between 2016 and 2021. They represent the artistic exploration of one specific artist. They were made during my first few years as a therapist in private practice, my first years of marriage, a transition across the country, and my first year as a mother.

These years (and by extension, this artwork) is significant to my heart. The years contained excitement and also much stress and uncertainty. I found solace in the art studio - where my process involved granting permission to take time away from the daily grind to create something that felt beautiful and resonant. It involved an intention to welcome and feel through every emotion. Through this painting process, this belief was reinforced: when we lean into the things that intimidate us, self-trust and peace are on the other side, even if they are not immediately available.

While there have been countless other paintings and drawings done during this period, this is a glimpse into the ones that feel special. They are oil and watercolor paintings, created during stolen moments fueled by inspiration and time intentionally carved out to show up and press my nose to the grindstone.

We have loved living with them, but they are now ready for your eyes and homes. They feel harmonious, peaceful, and offer daily reminders of when and where they were made. We are meant to create and release.

As you take a look below, I’d like to imagine that you’re here for a visit and we are together in my studio with a warm drink in hand. Maybe our phones are buzzing, our kids are screaming in the background, and maybe we have a million other things to get to, but - we’re taking this moment for ourselves.
