I’m so glad you’re here!

I am a working mom and oil painter living in Providence, RI with my sweet husband and daughter. I absolutely love to make art and believe that following our drive to create and share is liberating and healing for artists and collectors alike.

I’m excited to share my work with you and look forward to connecting with you in the process. Read on to learn more about what to expect from this website.

As you explore this website, you will find representational and abstract impressions in oil and watercolor.

These paintings reflect my desire to stay true to my subject and manipulate what I see to capture a mood or concept. They vary in style. You’ll find muted pieces, colorful work, soft smooth strokes, and bold impasto ones. You can expect opportunities to purchase paintings through announcements on Instagram.

Why do I make these paintings?

I absolutely relate to the answer: “I really feel like I can’t not do it…” Despite periods of devotion to my career or not creating art for other reasons, I’ve always “come home” to painting and drawing.

I love to create beauty because doing so brings me joy and peace and allows me to decorate my space in a way that feels light and relaxed. I like to create visual expressions of philosophical ideas in order to explore them.

My paintings are an expression of my perception. They are one way I share the way I see, feel, and think. The expression what I believe is significant, whether by subject or by what a piece symbolically conveys. They are one way I contribute to a multitude of important conversations.

My paintings may be close to my heart, but when they leave my home studio and reach your hands - they shed all I have thought about them, felt around them, and imagined for them. They transition to a second life with you, where they exist as beautiful design elements for your home that are meaningful to you for your own reasons!

Thank you for taking the time to visit this page - have fun looking at art!
